Candy connoisseurs. Comic book obsessives. Thirtysomething skate rats. Rejuveniles come in many forms, some full-blown obsessives who devote their entire lives to childlike leisure pursuits, some capital-a adults who happen to have a fondness for Tin Tin, stickball or Necco Wafers.

I honestly don't know why I love cartoons as much as I do. I just do. Although, having a love for them did aid in giving me an idea of what I wanted to do, careerwise, when I got older.

I love this stuff because it was the medium through which I connected with my brother and most of my friends when I was a kid; it represents connections with others that have no strings attached.
Name: Frank
Hometown: Huntsville, AL
I can find almost religious significance in "Looney Tunes" and "Merrie Melodies" cartoons. Bugs Bunny, for example, is a trickster folk hero, like Br'er Rabbit or Anansi.
Name: Linda
Hometown: San Francisco
My husband and 16-year-old son are a little embarassed, but they like some of the concerts we've been to. They are indulging my crush. My coworkers so far think it's kind of neat that I'm acting so young.

If a grown-up is classified as one who is closed-minded, bound to the social status quo that maintains he/she should dress this way, think that way, only do 'this', don't to 'that,' then no I'm not.

When I take my kids to the playground, I love to swing on the swingset. Oh, and I stlll love a good plate of mac and cheese.
Name: Angela

It seems to me that as I learn more and 'mature', I realize how little I know and how much more there is to learn. I actually feel like I'm less of a grown up each year. I guess I'm the incredible shrinking woman.

I teach kindergarten and I love it because it reminds me so much of my own childhood. I used to play with Strawberry Shortcake, and now the girls in my class play with her, too. The same cartoon icons my brothers loved (Spiderman, Incredible Hulk, Transformers) are the very same ones the boy students love.
Name: Ella

My love of the rejuvenile is an opportunity to finally have some of the experiences that I missed out on by being forced to grow-up too quickly. Ultimately, my own "rejuvenilation" process has helped me to become a happier, healthier and more well-rounded adult.
Name: Laurie
Hometown: Dallas now, grew up in Indiana
I started my troll collection again. I wear stuff that was in style when I was a child. I burp, snort, laugh when I talk, I tickle my kids, cats, husband. I fake pick my nose to make them laugh. I make hand farts in different octaves. I love this stuff because it was fun being a kid and I love making my kids laugh.
Name: Robert

I am a grown up. I became a grown up when I began to brush the roof of my mouth and tongue during my toothbrushing regimen.

I love to skip! When I started skipping as an adult, my life changed in big, miraculous, unexpected ways! It lifts your heart rate AND your spirit...

"(I love) rocking out for tots wearing knee socks and pig tails. People are always surprised to dicover I don't yet have kids of my own."

"I have no interest in sloughing off activities that bring me joy, as these do, simply because some societal norm might suggest I've passed their expiration date" I'm a continually growing-up-and-down-and-all-around grown up. It's great.?
